The Scout Group is supported by an Executive Committee who meet 6 times a year, usually on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month (except July, August & December).
The Group Executive Committee exists to support the Group Scout Leader in meeting the responsibilities of their appointment. The Committee is responsible for:
- the maintenance of the Group's property and equipment;
- the raising of funds and the administration of the Group's finance;
- the insurance of persons, property, and equipment;
- Group public occasions; and
- assisting with the recruitment of leaders and helpers
- adherence to current legislation
The GROUP CHAIRMAN, DEPUTY CHAIRMAN & QUARTERMASTER are appointed by the Group Scout Leader, and those appointments endorsed by the Scout Group Council at the A.G.M.
