Hire the 36th Ipswich Scouts Headquarters

Since May 2007,the 36th Ipswich Scout Group has been ‘working within the community’ to provide fantastic facilities for many types of functions. Based within the heart of Chantry on the southwest of Ipswich, and a stone's throw away from the A12 and A14, it really is a fantastic facility which is easily accessible.

Ideal for:

Birthdays, retirements, anniversaries, wedding receptions, classes, groups or clubs

A fully maintained, modern, multi-functional, building with hire available from as little as £40 for 2 hours, which includes 30 minutes setup and 30 minutes to clear up - making 3 hours! 

We keep our hire charges low by asking hirer's to return the hall in a clean and tidy condition after their hire. You may read the charges and terms and conditions HERE

If you need a disco and/or childrens entertainer for your party Abacus Entertainments have been used in our hall by our members and are highly recommended

note: Minimum bookings are for 2 hours and cost £40. Each extra hour is £10. In addition to the time selected you will also get 30 minutes prior to setup and 30 minutes to clear up at no extra cost.

This hall is run by the members of the 36th Ipswich scout group. Non of the members are paid for this work and this is not our main occupation so please be patient in waiiting for responses. You should normally get a response within 2 days but sometimes you may need to wait up to 5 days. All fees are used to maintain the facilities at the scout group or are used to fund the 36th Ipswich Scout Group which is a registered charity.
